NEXT FUNDS FTSE/JSE Africa Top40 Linked Exchange Traded Fund is an open-end type investment trust. Its benchmark is the South African Rand based FTSE/JSE Africa Top40 Index. The Fund aims to track the performance equivalent to the yen converted benchmark index by investing primarily in those securities issued to track the yen converted benchmark index.

FTSE/JSE Africa Top40 Index is a representative South African stock price index. It is composed of the top 40 stocks in terms of the market capitalization from the FTSE/JSE All Share Index component stocks, which are listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. The Index is free-float adjusted and market capitalization weighted. The base date for the FTSE/JSE Africa Top40 Index is 21 June, 2002, with a base value of 10,300.31.
